Eshopista was targeted by e-commerce leaders. He was about the Marketplaces trend


On Thursday, June 16, the traditional networking event Eshopista welcomed Czech e-commerce leaders to La Fabrica. It was an afternoon full of business inspiration, trends and news - this time on the topic of Marketplaces. Eshopista is a recognized networking platform, which has been connecting the Czech e-commerce scene for seven years.

Why the Marketplaces theme this time?
Internet marketplaces (Marketplaces) represent a big trend in online business, which is also experiencing an increase in the Czech market. For sellers and e-shops, Marketplaces mean a further boost to their businesses.

"The topic of Marketplaces resonates more and more strongly in the market, this way of shopping is becoming more and more popular with customers and brings many benefits to the sellers themselves - whether it is an increase in business, new customers and sales or the opportunity to offer their goods abroad,” says David Vurma, CEO of marketing agency Acomware.

David Cikánek from the company Expando and Dušan Smoljak from Acomware showed you the current numbers on Eshopista and that how Marketplaces drive business in the Czech Republic and abroad. They also added interesting numbers from the conducted survey. There were also the biggest mistakes of e-shops in the world of Marketplaces.

Petr Bena from Alza shared his experience about what Marketplaces can bring to e-shops, what services they offer for them and what the trend will be in the future. His colleague from Alza, Jan Pípal, revealed what role logistics plays in the entire industry and what its further development will be. Petr Hušek from Heureka Group presented Marketplaces from the perspective of the customer, e-shop and data. There was also a large panel discussion with Petr Bena from Alza, Jan Penkala from Astratex, Michal Vodák from Heureka Group, Milan Polák from Zoot and Adam Kurzok from Expando.
