A trio of new reinforcements are introduced

Three newcomers to ACOMWARE, they are Zdeněk, Petra and Markéta. We wanted to get to know them better, so we asked them some tricky questions.

 

Zdeněk Růžička, Email Marketing Consultant

 

 

Zdeněk works in the e-mailing department. He introduced himself to us as a cheerful empath who also likes to cook. Read what else he revealed about himself.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

I think I could sum up my personality in a nutshell as: a cheerful empath who doesn't spoil the fun. And I'll admit that I'm a bit of a J stickman sometimes.

What experience in online marketing do you already have?

I worked for almost a year on intensive online marketing at O2 Czech Republic. It was one of the communication channels used, namely e-mailing.

What do you enjoy most about online marketing?

I am constantly amazed at the speed at which this field is evolving. Figuratively speaking, it can be said that what is valid today is "obsolete" tomorrow.

What are your hobbies? What do you usually spend your free time doing?

I try to spend my free time actively, so I like cycling in the summer and skiing in the winter. In addition, I enjoy going somewhere in nature or for culture to the cinema or theater. I also like to cook and bake at home, which will probably come in handy for J.

Where do you get new knowledge and information about online marketing?

I often find out news mainly from colleagues at work or on the Internet, where I actively search for what's new in this area.

Do you hold an interesting certificate?

I don't have the certificates yet, but I believe I will have one soon.

Why did you decide to work at Acomware?

I liked the communication style during the selection process, and I was also very attracted to work in a smaller company, since I spent the last few years in corporations. These are probably the main reasons why I happily said a big "yes" to J.

What are your work goals?

My current intention is to absorb all important information and skills as soon as possible in order to fulfill my work tasks at least as expected of me.

 

Petra Vaníčková, Email Marketing Specialist

 

 

Petra works as an E-mail Marketing Specialist. Soon after her arrival, she got an interesting nickname and even started a women's American football team in her spare time.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

In the first week at work, I was nicknamed "Rachanda" by my colleagues from our online team. I think it's the telltale J.

What experience in online marketing do you already have?

I participated in an internship and subsequent trainee program offered by IBM. And it was here that I focused on IBM business solutions for commerce. I also did an internship and subsequently worked with the digital advertising agency Nydrle.

What do you enjoy most about online marketing?

Above all, I can combine marketing and technical knowledge in online marketing. When I'm in the mood, I can play around with texts in e-mailing, but it's not just that I have to pour out creative ideas like on a treadmill every day.

What are your hobbies? What do you usually spend your free time doing?

I played American football, I even managed to found a women's team in Liberec. However, due to injuries, I only passively return to this sport.

Currently, I like to exchange city traffic for cycling in nature or go for a walk in the forest. In winter, I take out my skis or snowboard again and go to explore the slopes. And even though it sounds strange, I spend a lot of my free time on self-education, not only in online marketing, but I'm also interested in energy J.

Where do you get new knowledge and information about online marketing?

I participate in many events at my alma mater VŠE, i.e. at the University of Economics in Prague. This semester, for example, I spent Saturdays at school at online marketing workshops organized by the Click It organization. I also get a lot of inspiration from my friends who are in marketing.

Do you hold an interesting certificate?

I am currently working my way through the IBM Marketing Cloud certifications, I would like to reach the Professional level by the summer.

Why did you decide to work at Acomware?

First of all, I wanted to focus on e-mail marketing, which I already had experience with at IBM. I chose Acomware because there is probably the largest concentration of e-mailing specialists in the Czech Republic J. I wanted to work in a company that has its own know-how and where I can learn at the same time. The image of Acomwar as a company where people from practice go for various trainings and workshops was one of the decisive factors for me.

What are your work goals?

In the coming years, my goals are primarily educational, as I have almost my entire university studies ahead of me. From a career perspective, I would like to develop my e-mailing skills, improve my communication with clients and, as they say, soak up information J. Online marketing is a fast-changing industry, so it's hard for me to say what specifically at this point I would like to devote myself after finishing my studies.

 

Markéta Jetelová, PPC Specialist

 

 

The third newcomer is Markéta, who works as a PPC Specialist. She revealed to us not only her good qualities, but also tips on where to look for the latest online marketing information.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

I think I could say about myself that I am friendly, responsible, reliable, careful and I also have a sense of humor.

What experience in online marketing do you already have?

I managed one-time AdWords campaigns for my own e-shop, thanks to which I gained a lot of experience.

What do you enjoy most about online marketing?

I enjoy working with data and optimizing different campaigns the most.

What are your hobbies? What do you usually spend your free time doing?

I like to spend my free time playing board games, I also like to play the guitar, exercise and hang out with my friends.

Where do you get new knowledge and information about online marketing?

I get inspired about news most often through social networks. A lot of interesting things appear on Twitter, which people from Acomware or Sklik post there. On Facebook, I follow news from, among others, the online magazine Newsfeed.cz. If I'm looking for more information, I use the Internet search engine Google, or I google J.

Do you hold an interesting certificate?

I am currently certified in Google AdWords for Search, Video, Mobile and Shopping. The others are being worked on by J.

Why did you decide to work at Acomware?

I was interested in the same field and wanted to continue my education and gain practical experience in it. In addition, I noticed the Acomware company at school at various presentations about online marketing, during which the agency immediately caught my attention.

What are your work goals?

I am currently still going through the learning process. Therefore, I would like to gain more theoretical and, above all, practical experience in managing PPC campaigns and become a really good PPC specialist.
