Come and listen to a successful e-shop operator - Vlasta Vávrů

Accept the invitation to a two-hour meeting with Vlastimil Vávrů and listen to one of the most successful men in Czech e-commerce. Vlasta Vávrů is one of the loudest – he lectures, discusses, comments on online events, but above all he lives with his e-shop VašeČočky.cz and his – currently – 13 foreign sisters. He openly talks about his strengths and competitive advantages, which have led him to become one of the most progressive Czech e-commerce entrepreneurs.

Vlastimil Vávrů has been active on the Internet since 1999. He first worked as a PHP and Java programmer, since 2008 he co-owns and manages the company Maternia, the largest retailer of lenses in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company Maternia also operates successfully in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Great Britain. It currently processes over 20,000 orders per month. Since 2011, Vlastimil Vavrů has been a partner in Optiscont, which operates kiosks for the self-service sale of prescription glasses. In 2013, he became an investor in the startup Tapomat – an online service that creates a mobile version of an e-shop.
How to work with customers?

The experiences and insights they share, they are all the more valuable, that he is not a representative of an agency, nor a self-proclaimed internet geek, but an e-shopper who has led his internet business from a shaky start to where it is today 20,000 orders per month. And the opening of one market after another suggests that with growth rather it's just starting. All this without the support of investors or foreign partners.

What will Vlasty Vávrů ask at the meeting...

  • Breakthrough from a "garage" business to rapid growth
  • Competition
  • Customer care
  • Internal processes
  • What is missing on the Czech market?
  • What is he involved in - assessing the situation
  • Further development of its e-shops and Czech e-commerce
  • The best and worst business decisions
  • How to choose a team around you

To what extent did he capitalize on his beginnings as a programmer in the e-shop, what are his strengths, which he uses effectively in the fight for the customer? Why did he decide to invest his time and resources in the Tapomat project, which facilitates mobile shopping for e-shops? What are his experiences in the internet business and how did he get into it? Come and ask the largest Czech-Slovak internet seller of lenses about his success story.
