Yesterday, the expert jury of the WebTop100 competition awarded the best digital solutions for 2016. In the E-mailing campaign category, two campaigns from ACOMWARE for the companies UrbanStore and TESCOMA advanced to the five-member final.

They ended up taking first and second place. “Email campaigns have tremendous potential and are an area we have specialized in for several years. We are glad that other fellow experts also appreciated our ideas. In both cases, these are campaigns that are unconventional in their concept and have excellent results." says Petr Cikán, Head of E-mail Marketing at ACOMWARE.

It became the winning project in the E-mailing campaign category of the WebTop100 competition automated campaign for retailers of branded clothing UrbanStore.cz"It's a smart remarketing campaign that we use to reach out to existing customers who haven't made a purchase in a long time. As soon as the customer visits the e-shop and views one of the collections, based on the transaction history and other data, we evaluate whether it is the right time to contact him again. Only then do we send him the newsletter. The goal is to monitor the frequency of these e-mails so that they are not annoying, and we also pay attention to the content that should interest the customer," explains Petr Cikán. Individual e-mails contain more information about the collection of goods that the customer viewed in the store. They are also supplemented with dynamic elements, for example reviews of the e-shop from other customers.

The purpose of an email campaign for a company TESCOM, which placed second in the WebTop100 competition, is support for promo team trips. He organizes various culinary events in individual TESCOMA stores. "In this case, e-mail is the only channel used to invite members of the loyalty program to each event. Customers will receive an invitation from us and a discount of 20 % for shopping on the given day. The campaign has been running since 2015 and is also interesting in that we evaluate its success based on the daily increase in sales at the store where the event takes place," adds Petr Cikán.
