MAFRA strengthens in the digital world, buys consulting company ACOMWARE

The MAFRA media group is strengthening its position in the field of digital marketing and e-commerce. It acquired a 100% stake in one of the most important consulting companies on the market, ACOMWARE, which specializes in the e-commerce and retail segment. In addition to a strong position in the online and offline advertising market, the multimedia house thus gains significant participation in the segment of performance advertising, email marketing and e-commerce consulting.

"The purchase of ACOMWARE confirms the next strategic shift of the multimedia house MAFRA in the digital world and, at the same time, development in an area where MAFRA has not been significantly active yet," says Štěpán Košík, chairman of the board of directors of the MAFRA media group.

ACOMWARE focuses primarily on helping merchants enter the online market, e-commerce consulting, increasing traffic, business performance of e-shops and intelligent emailing. Its clients include major players on the market, including e-shops and established retail brands. MAFRA buys the 100% share of all partners. All of them will continue to work at ACOMWARE.

 "ACOMWARE caught our attention with its market position and client portfolio, but also with its progressive thinking and approach to customers," says Michal Hanák, MAFRA board member responsible for the digital division. "We realize that in addition to classic display advertising in quality media, we must also offer clients a better service in performance marketing. We believe that ACOMWARE has a chance to be a clear choice for clients who want to make their investments in online marketing more efficient or strengthen their position in e-commerce," adds Hanák.
