Meetings

The strategist participates in regular internal statuses with entrusted clients (clients who pay for the strategist's work), where he does not lead these meetings, but is in the role of an assistant, so that he is always in the picture. It is also good to participate in external meetings with the client, there is room to build trust and discuss with the client out of the box.

Outputs

Most output is a presentation, text document or spreadsheet. The strategist processes these materials on the basis of his own discretion (he believes that the given output can advance the client project), on the basis of the client's request (in which case the activity should have an approved time fund) or on the basis of the team's request (e.g. benchmarks need to be created for specific segment).

The quality of the work towards the client should be of top quality (in terms of the supplied information). The other two types of output flow must be mainly in the quality of the delivered data - the appearance is secondary in internal cases.

You don't need to be an expert in everything, it's not even possible, but it's important to know who I can turn to. However, a strategist should not lack a detailed knowledge of the data provided by Google Analytics, Google Ads, Seznam Sklik, Facebook Business Manager, etc. In addition to these (daily) tools, knowledge of SimilarWeb, Marketing Miner, Google Trends, etc. is appropriate. The most important is the ability to find in data context and be able to predict.

Soft skills

The work of a strategist is about responsibility and diplomacy. It is good to always listen to the opinion of others and develop it if necessary. It is always a good idea to submit the processed documents a few days earlier so that interested colleagues can comment on them and the changes can be incorporated.
